Rosfeld
A science-fiction comedy by Henning Ricke.
This short film about the first alien encounter in a small German village is Henning’s thesis-movie. He made it to graduate from the Cologne Academy of Media Arts (KHM)
Henning wrote, produced and directed the film, supported through a co-production by his film-school and a grand from the Northrhine-Westfalia Filmfund. A team of 30 film professionals and students shot the film in June 2007 on location in Bergisch Gladbach and the small village of Schenkenschanz.
The digital postproduction and visual effects lie in the hands of Jan Ziemann and his team of students and visual effects professionals at the University of Applied Sciences in Düsseldorf. Jan too will graduate from university with Rosfeld. Since the digital postproduction is very time-consuming and labor-intensive the premiere of the movie is planned for spring 2008.
